We recognize that a child’s birthday can be the most important day of his or her year. Many children and families want
to celebrate birthdays at school. Birthdays are celebrated at school in special ways. Some of these ways include:
Child’s name is announced in the class on his or her birthday. The child receives a “birthday badge or sticker” from the principal that he or she can proudly wear all day!
The teacher gives a special birthday treat (sticker, pencil, or award) to the birthday child.
In the classroom we celebrate each child’s birthday with special birthday wishes for the birthday child. Child receives a special birthday poem on the day of his or her birthday celebration.
Birthday child brings cake, sweets or giveaways to treat his fellows and a mini party is done during the break time.
We try to make memories by celebrating every major to minor events, and birthdays are surely a treat enjoyed by all students.
